SNUG community expanding, why don’t you volunteer?
There have been huge steps forwards with the SNUG community – Seaton Neighbourhoods United Garden. This is based from Bayview Court, past Northsea Court and up to Aulton Court.
We have our gardening lead Elaine, you can contact her via secretary on the Contact page. She works, so we would love to find some volunteers to assist her & the team during the day. This will allow us to reach more of the community, as well as work with vulnerable groups & services, who predominantly like to attend during the day.
There are so many different activities you can enjoy in the SNUG. You can help grow food, help with gardening, design & art. Equally welcome are people to come along & donate/ plant their own items, just please let Elaine know. The garden is for the whole community. Bringing back colour, hope & positivity to Seaton, equally to create an area that anyone would like to visit when they are in Aberdeen. You are welcome to come along for a chat, suggest some ideas, as well as sitting on one of the benches and just relaxing in a serene, safe space.
