Welcome
Operating from Seaton & Linksfield neighbourhoods, and surrounding areas, we are a volunteer lead Mental Health Charity.
Formed during the Covid 19 Pandemic we received our charity status in October 2021
We use lived experience and volunteer lead projects:-
The SNUG (Seaton Neighbourhood United Gardens) community garden.
Sessions: Thursday 10am – 12pm
Thursday 2pm – 4pm
Saturday 10am -12pm (This session often runs longer in the Summer with the better weather)
Ladies craft club.
Monday 5:30pm – 7:30 pm North sea Court common room
Men’s music chat group.
Thursday 5:30pm – 7:45pm Seaton Community Centre
All these projects were set up to provide safe spaces for people to come together, build friendships and get back to nature, learn to grow healthy foods, improve the biodiversity and the natural environment of Seaton & Linksfield, learn new skills, combat loneliness and getting people talking about their health and mental wellbeing.
We are fully inclusive, without barriers or labels and we are committed to positive change.
We work closely with other community groups and a network of charity contacts to help support them and promote good mental wellbeing.
Since we began we have had over 300 people involved in the projects mostly in
The SNUG community garden.
We work with our local third sector interface, ACVO, along with local community media group, Station House Media Unit who support this website.
Fun, free craft groups & indoor activities suitable for all.
Outdoor activities include things such as food growing, gardening, painting, community events, wellbeing courses, community meals and other activities throughout the year.
Our team leaders all are all PVG approved to safeguard vulnerable groups or 1 to 1 peer support sessions.
