With agreed permissions this would allow us to use the communities fund for 2 simple units. One for main storage, secure, for all equipment and tools. This could possibly have a small work station for DIY tasks. The modular unit allows for outdoor premises for all weathers, which could be added to with things such as lighting towers, power and much more as and when it is viable. This will be complimented with outside decking (in the SNUG) which has been agreed thanks to donations from ACC.
Having an independent welfare van will allow us to reach all members of the community issuing teas, coffees & refreshments. As well as reaching out of Seaton neighbourhoods and attending other events. This allows for cooking/ eating/ meeting area, a toilet, and could also be moved when we were operating in different sections of Seaton neighbourhoods too. Allowing us to be fully inclusive and encourage additional community engagement through outreach for all community groups and minorities too.
