Our initial sketch for the SNUG garden base, having now written permission. This will enable us to have storage and premises.
You will see large decked areas too. This is thanks to kind donations from ACC from the ‘parklets’ which were in place during social distancing on Union Street. These were split between community groups and you can see the difference they will make to the garden. It means we can have an outside ‘working area’, where we can paint, build or pot plants and more. As well as also working as a great area for meeting up and discussing things, holding events and more during the year.
Thanks to the Mental Health & Wellbeing community fund award, which we achieved thanks to ACVO tsi, we have the funds to get these great assets for all of the community to enjoy. Enabling us to do so much more this year, incredible news indeed.
