Trails – Blether Vulnerable Groups
WalkIn4Change is our relaxed pace, walk & talk throughout the local area. A time for all residents of all abilities to get involved and have their say, as we walk around areas looking to be regenerated. Perhaps there are areas you wish to keep, or to just alter slightly. Why not come for a stroll and a blether. Find out more on this group, on our project page Seaton Trails. The trails blether VG is especially designed for vulnerable groups. Want to know more come to our brainstorming sessions for new members & volunteers Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri 10am to 1pm at the FRESHHUB
Where possible please book via Eventbrite
As with the regular sessions you can discuss anything you wish from regenerations to life! However we also offer the opportunity to discuss matters relating to your situation, vulnerable groups include those looking to improve mental health, prevent lapses/ relapses or begin a recovery journey, as well as those differently able. Anything discussed is with peers, confidential and direct referrals can be made for anyone looking to change or improve their situations.
We need your input, your engagement, then we can make these lasting plans, for a Seaton/ Linksfield neighbourhoods legacy, with YOU!! All guests, friends, family welcome from all over Aberdeen.
A really really exciting time for all – changes than are happening, now, mid term and long term.
Hot topic is to pick a ‘place’ which could work as a brand new area for Seaton/ Linksfield neighbourhoods.
Ideas so far range from dog parks, small café, fountain and more. All have been advised to have free MiFi, Sheltered seating from elements and to have facilities for toilets. All are advised to have water points – for fresh water refills for bottles as well as for filling dog bowls!
What do you think? We already have ideas for long term ‘Seaton Vision‘ – so why not pick somewhere new, aside from these which could be started now – applications to be completed by Feb 2023
