Dr Quazi Zaman & 50 students from the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture, RGU, have taken a few months to compile and extensive report, with design suggestions. They presented this on a very windy & wet day, 16th March 2022, at the Totem Pole garden pocket, with over 100 in attendance.
A full press release will follow, but suffice to say wind and rain did not dampen their, or anyone listening’s spirits, in fact the opposite – these beacons of hope and positivity shone a new light on to Seaton/ Linksfield neighbourhoods. Engaging each and every one of us.
Dr Quazi Zaman – Live introduction
The full report will be made available to all, we would also like to ask anyone, group or service who would like to see the designs – whether at our base or for us to come and present them to you. Then just email [email protected] and we can book that for you. Both the in depth report & designs will be shared for everyone, via a link on our website. There will also be the placement of the first of ‘Seaton Trail’ posts, displayed at the Totem Pole corner garden. Each of these posts will have an image and a QR code and be throughout the neighbourhoods, linking all areas and groups together, whilst creating a ‘trail’, mapping out areas of interest.

Reimaging Seaton page is now open, to demonstrate the vision portrayed by the passionate and keen team of students. This will have further links added, for all the reports, and all the designs. Please follow the link to listen & watch as students introduce us to 10 different places selected, their designs and presentation from the students.
Everyone can get involved with ideas, from home or in person – from anywhere. We especially encourage local residents due to this being regenerations which will directly affect them! Check out the ACVO links for some of our opportunities or go to ‘volunteering‘.
Please don’t forget this is for the whole community, and at all times welcomes in the engagement and involvement of anyone who wishes to be a part of positive change, at any level of ability or involvement – we do want to hear from you. Contact Us
